About this job

We are looking for a full-time team member (37 hours per week) on behalf of a renowned transmission system operator at the Bayreuth location.

Your tasks

• Independent cost control and management of project finances at the project or sub-project level.
• Creation, analysis and validation of budgets, forecasts, cash flow and liquidity plans including scenario analyses
• Monitoring of actual costs, orders, invoices, provisions, as well as identification and communication of deviations.
• Consolidation and quality assurance of financial data for budget, forecast and management reports.
• Analysis of the financial project progress, taking into account the construction progress, and derivation of necessary actions.
• Support with budget approvals, amendment requests and other approval processes
• Participation in audits and financial reviews, as well as collaboration in cross-departmental planning and control processes (e.g. budgeting, cash flow planning, quarterly reports)
• Integration of project risks into financial forecasts and ongoing cost assessments
• Coordination and harmonization of cost, schedule and resource planning

Profile

• A successfully completed degree in finance or business administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in controlling and accounting
• Knowledge of the energy sector is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP (CO/FI/MM/PS/PM/BI), knowledge of Access and VBA is an advantage.
• High sense of responsibility, hands-on mentality, very good communication, analytical and challenge-solving skills
• Fluent German and English skills
