Our team is committed to creating healthy smiles and providing top-notch service. Position Overview: We are seeking a Pediatric Financial Coordinator to join our pediatric dental team! This hybrid role combines financial coordination (2 days) with patient care coordination (2 days) — perfect for someone who loves both numbers and people. You’ll manage patient financials, support treatment plan presentations, and help families navigate their child’s dental care with confidence and compassion. You’ll play a key role in ensuring every family’s clinical and financial experience is handled with professionalism, accuracy, and heart. Key Responsibilities: · Financial Coordination (2 Days per Week) · Manage collections for both Scottsdale and Grayhawk pediatric accounts, including journal reviews and follow-up actions. · Review credit and aging reports to monitor financial goals. · Provide post-insurance balance explanations to parents, collaborating with the Insurance Coordinator as needed. · Extend financial arrangements that balance family needs with APDO’s financial guidelines. · Maintain Exclusive Membership contracts and autopay accounts, including account setup, recurring payments, and declined payment follow-ups. · Patient Care Coordination (2 Days per Week) · Greet patients and families with warmth and professionalism. · Manage scheduling, confirmations, and daily flow for the front desk team. · Answer phones and respond to parent inquiries with clarity and empathy. · Prepare and update patient charts, verify demographic and insurance information. · Collect estimated patient portions at check-out. · Support treatment presentations and patient education. · Assist with any additional duties as needed to ensure a seamless patient experience.
