Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As the financial coordinator for the Real Estate & Housing (V&H) department, you are responsible for corporate budgets and financial accountability. In addition to portfolio management development, your main deliverables include the housing account (HVR) and the allocation of energy costs.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing the planning & control cycle within V&H.
  • Optimizing and streamlining work processes within V&H and ensuring compliance with internal financial procedures.
  • Managing property tax (WOZ), environmental levies, and insurance portfolios.
  • Setting up subsidy management within Wageningen University & Research (WUR).
  • Preparing financial annexes for the Real Estate Report (VGR), Housing Account (HVR), corporate budgets, taxes & levies, energy cost allocation, and project & portfolio management.
    In this role, you will communicate with managers from various WUR departments and Corporate Finance & Control. You will also collaborate closely with managers from Real Estate Policy, Construction & Housing Management, and Safety & Environment to optimize financial management in their respective sections. A financial officer supports you in processing financial data, and this officer falls under your functional supervision.

  • there is a strong focus on vitality and you can make use of the sports facilities available on campus for a small fee;
  • a fixed year-end bonus of 8,3%;

In addition to these first-rate employee benefits, you will of course receive a good salary. We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of between €3.868,- and €6.008,- for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 11). As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended - if possible within (company) organizational circumstances - on good performance.
