Description
Responsibilities

An outstanding opportunity now exists to join us as a Financial Crime Analyst in our Enhanced Customer Due Diligence Team. You’ll be part of our Financial Crime Operations team which plays a critical role in ensuring Tabcorp meets its obligations under Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), and broader financial crime regulations.
As a Financial Crime Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) assessments in response to transaction monitoring alerts, onboarding reviews, and ad hoc referrals. Your role will also involve requesting additional information from higher risk customers, critically analysing returned documentation, and identifying any potential financial crime risks that require reporting to AUSTRAC. Through your work, you will support key compliance initiatives and help ensure the integrity and safety of our business and customer base.

This will include:

  • Conducting Enhanced Customer Due Diligence in line with regulatory and internal requirements
  • Requesting and reviewing supporting documents from customers to validate Source of Funds/Wealth (SOF/SOW) and other risk factors
  • Analysing customer responses and documentation to identify discrepancies or potential financial crime indicators
  • Investigating and assessing transaction monitoring alerts and customer activity that triggers ECDD reviews
  • Documenting and escalating findings with clear, risk-based recommendations
  • Supporting internal and regulatory reporting obligations as required
  • Contributing to the development and refinement of ECDD processes and controls
