6 month secondment opportunities Monday to Friday | 10am to 6pm and 12pm to 8pm. Auckland or Christchurch Mō te tūranga | About the Role As a Financial Crime Analyst, you will be responsible for the review of incoming Fraud and AML/ CFT alerts, assessing and taking action on them. Your role will involve the daily management of these alerts, so the ability to manage and prioritise across competing service level agreements and compliance obligations is a must. Growing to become an expert in this field, you’ll utilise this expertise to educate and assist our customers and colleagues across the board. Analysing and compiling information to identify fraud patterns, or activity that may be of concern under the AML/ CFT Act (2009) and allowing us to take appropriate action to mitigate the monetary loss for our customers and for the bank. You will be working with customers who may have had been impacted by fraud, discussing their case to gauge the details of any compromise, and providing them with preventative tips for the future. You’ll have a strong focus on customer service and be empathetic and professional when educating internal and external customers. The shift available for this role is: 1x 10am to 6pm 1x 12pm to 8pm Monday to Friday Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring Problem solving and reasoning skills that allow for the correct subjective assessment based on limited financial information. Strong customer service and retention focused experience Confident user of MS Office and general computer skills Analytical skills to determine items of importance/ significance from system reports. Responsibilities

As a Financial Crime Analyst, you will review incoming Fraud and AML/CFT alerts, assess them, and take appropriate action. You will also educate and assist customers and colleagues while analyzing information to identify fraud patterns.
