Mō te tūranga | About the Role The Financial Crime Intelligence Manager is a key leadership role where you will be at the forefront of delivering financial crime intelligence and driving industry collaboration. A critical part of this role is proactively engaging with, and where appropriate, leading industry initiatives focused on the prevention and detection of fraud and scams. You will represent and advance Westpac New Zealand’s position at relevant meetings and forums and assist in implementing initiatives within the organisation that strengthen our collective response to financial crime. As the Financial Crime Intelligence Manager you will also lead and develop a high-performing team of intelligence professionals and successfully influence across Westpac New Zealand and the wider industry. This role requires a strategic and critical thinker who can building strong industry relationships, lead with initiative and translate ideas into actions. Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring? Industry knowledge of financial crime/ intelligence concepts and trends. 5+ years in roles of a related nature, including financial crime and/or intelligence roles. Ability to apply intelligence/ financial crime concepts to deliver meaningful, relevant, actionable insights. Experience in producing written and verbal communications to inform and influence decision making on complex problems to a range of audiences. Knowledge of the financial sector and risk management processes. People Leadership experience.
