About the role | Mō te tūranga Joining our financial data team, you’ll play a critical role in presenting a client or prospect’s financial position, to support due diligence and decision-making processes. You’ll work with financials for both new and existing clients, as well as for the client review process. There will also be cross-training opportunities in other parts of the Transactional Data Team. This is a 12-month fixed term position. About you | Ō pūkenga We’re seeking a keen professional who is ready for a challenge and who can contribute to the strength and reliability of our financial information. Accuracy, consistency and timeliness of completion are paramount in this role. You’ll have a good working knowledge of financial data, including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheets, and depreciation schedules. Although you don’t need to hold NZICA, it’s highly advantageous if you have an accounting qualification, and experience in an accountancy / bookkeeping environment. To thrive in this role, you demonstrate: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Experience gained in accounting practice, bookkeeping roles or financial data environment. Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant agricultural discipline. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information in a way that it’s easily understood. Great computer literacy, especially with MS Excel. The role may also at times pick up general administration and transactional portfolio management, and other day to day banking requirements.
