Job Description This role is designed for someone who can operate confidently in a regulated financial institution, translate accounting and liquidity concepts into robust data models, and deliver audit-ready, decision-grade analytics. You will join a lean, tech-focused data environment, with real ownership and accountability. Responsibilities Financial & Accounting Analytics Analyze and validate accounting data (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Support reconciliations between core banking systems, accounting records, and analytical datasets Build and maintain accounting-aligned metrics (interest, accruals, balances) ALM & Liquidity Analysis Analyze liquidity positions, funding structures, and cash-flow behavior Support ALM analysis: maturity ladders, repricing gaps, interest rate sensitivity Monitor deposit and loan behavior, contribute to dashboards and stress analyses Regulatory Reporting (8XX) Prepare, validate, and QA Bank of Israel 8XX reports Translate regulatory rules into data logic, controls, and validations Support audits and regulatory inquiries with clear data explanations Data & BI Ownership Write and optimize advanced SQL queries on large, regulated datasets Develop and maintain BI dashboards (MetaBase / Power BI) Automate recurring reporting on financial performance, liquidity, and product behavior Define data quality frameworks and document workflows for auditability Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience 3–6 years in data analysis, BI, or financial analytics (banking/fintech preferred) Strong SQL skills (joins, window functions, subqueries, CTEs) Solid understanding of accounting, ALM, liquidity, and core banking products Experience with regulated data, strong communication skills, ability to work independently Bonus Experience with 8XX regulatory reports, Snowflake, or Python Exposure to treasury, risk, or financial control teams Mentoring or end-to-end ownership of analytical domains Bank esh is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
