POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Data Analyst is responsible to assist the Global Innovation & R&D Controlling department for the control & reporting of the Scientific Innovation Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform month end close duties such as journal entries and management reports.
  • Deeply understanding of the ongoing R&D operations and the most updated status of all R&D projects, to add the maximum value to the organization.
  • Manage actuals versus budget to allow R&D to attain targets.
  • Oversee maintenance of R&D tracking systems and work to enhance/develop improved project tracking capabilities
  • Develop methodologies and execute processes to create meaningful representations of data for R&D project tracking as required by management.
  • Perform the business budget and forecasting process.
  • Manage the monthly/year-end closing and financial reporting process, analysis of operating results and budget versus actual reporting, including detailed explanations of variances.
  • Provide support for special projects and ad hoc requests.
  • Prepare business cases and financial evaluations for current pipeline projects and new business opportunities.
  • Assist in maintaining of the cost accounting system, involving master data and project portfolio.
