Description
Analyze and interpret financial reports, including forecasts, budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow documents. Support monthly and quarterly closing processes, variance analysis, and reconciliations. Partner with Finance and Operations teams to provide insights into service supply chain costs, risks, and profitability. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, SOX, and reporting standards. Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with both financial inputs and data-driven scenario modeling. Data Science & Analytics Mine structured and unstructured data using SQL, Python, or R to extract insights. Develop predictive and prescriptive models to identify patterns, risks (e.g., E&O, inventory), and opportunities for optimization. Build dashboards, automation scripts, and reports to improve visibility into key metrics (operational KPIs, cost drivers, financial controls). Apply machine learning and statistical analysis to financial and operational datasets to support business decision-making. Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, and Compliance stakeholders to translate business problems into analytical solutions. Provide recommendations based on financial and analytical findings to key stakeholders. Support SOX and audit requirements through robust data analysis, documentation, and reporting. Maintain strong relationships with Finance, Operations, and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of analytics with business priorities. Financial Analysis & Modeling Variance Analysis & Forecasting P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow interpretation SAP or similar ERP systems Data Science & Analytics SQL, Python, or R (programming for data extraction and analysis) Data Visualization (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) Predictive Modeling, Machine Learning (regression, classification, time series) Statistics & Financial Modeling Automation and process improvement Impact & Scope * Impacts own work and acts as a team member by providing information, analysis, and recommendations in support of team efforts. Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting. Experience with SOX/internal controls or financial compliance preferred.
