As the Financial Education and Planning Lead on the Employee Solutions Integrated Marketing team, you’ll play a pivotal role by crafting and delivering financial education to the millions of employees with access to our services through their workplace.
In addition to an earnest desire to help people, we are looking for the ideal candidate to complement the team’s existing talents. For this Financial Education and Planning Lead role, we are seeking a candidate to deliver financial advice and guidance in one-on-one settings and/or large groups to help advance our desire to grow financial knowledge and confidence. REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Series 65 license required
  • Ability to travel regularly as needed
  • Ability to craft, deliver, and evaluate educational programming
  • Dynamic presenter who can captivate and engage large audiences digitally and/or in-person
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Highly collaborative with ability to work cross-functionally to achieve desired outcomes
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments with minimal direction
  • Ability to educate on topics ranging from financial fundamentals (i.e. budgeting, savings, debt management) to more sophisticated planning topics (i.e. tax planning, estate planning)
    Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $104,500 -$139,300. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop financial education curriculum and materials (including presentations, Q&As and handouts) to address attendees needs and goals, increase financial acumen and offer actionable steps to improve retirement outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Engagement Center (EFE’s workplace advisor team) to keep an active pulse on employee calls to align educational content in real time to audience insights/sentiments and better connect broadly-distributed education to 1:1 follow-up advisor conversations
  • Serve as the lead presenter and educator, presenting virtually via live and pre-recorded webinars and in-person to large audiences with varying levels of financial knowledge and complexity
  • Analyze attendee feedback, audience engagement metrics, attendance rate, Q&A and other employee interactions to refine future content strategies to improve impact
  • Own robust baseline education content library for easy off-the-shelf accessibility, ensuring library is consistently up-to-date
