Learn more: www.compassworkingcapital.org About the Job The Financial Education Associate supports Compass's internal training systems, staff learning experiences, financial content infrastructure, and client-facing financial education efforts across the Programs department. This role helps ensure financial coaches and other client-facing staff have access to organized, relevant, accurate, and trauma informed learning resources that strengthen coaching quality and client support. The Associate plays a key role in coordinating trainings, maintaining learning tools and financial content, and delivering excellent logistics for client workshops and educational programs. Reporting Structure: The Associate reports to the Manager, Programs Learning and Development and collaborates closely with program staff across Compass programs. Primary Responsibilities Training Coordination & Team Support · Support scheduling, logistics, and preparation for staff training, onboarding cohorts, and internal learning sessions. · Assist with training communications, attendance tracking, and follow-up materials. · Coordinate day-of support for virtual and in-person trainings. · Provide day-to-day coordination support to the Programs Learning and Development team. Staff Learning & Development Support · Contribute to the development and improvement of onboarding and professional development resources for Programs staff. · Help ensure learning materials are trauma-informed, accessible, and aligned with Compass coaching practices. · Gather feedback from staff and support continuous improvement of learning experiences. · Support Manager in analyzing feedback and identifying trends for improvement. Content, Tools & Learning Systems Maintenance · Maintain Compass’s centralized training and coaching resource database, ensuring materials are organized and up to date. · Support version control and documentation for curricula, tools, and learning content. · Track learning participation and completion using internal systems. · Assist with administrative coordination of certification pathways (e.g., AFC®, CFP®), including tracking progress and supporting coaches through the certification process. · Support regular reviews and updates of financial coaching content to ensure accuracy and currency. Client Workshop Coordination & Educational Material · Support coordination of client-facing financial education workshops, including scheduling, materials preparation, and presenter logistics. · Manage participant registration, send reminders, track attendance, and administer workshop evaluations. · Assist with development and updating of workshop content and client knowledge resources. · Help ensure educational materials are accessible and responsive to client needs, including multilingual resources when applicable. Qualifications and Skills · 1–3 years of relevant experience in program support, training coordination, education, or staff development. · Strong preference for experience in financial coaching, counseling or education. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Comfort using databases, learning platforms, and systems such as Salesforce or similar tools. · Commitment to equity-centered, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed learning environments. · Commitment to Compass’s mission and values, with an interest in financial coaching, asset-building, or economic mobility work. · Proficiency or fluency in Spanish, Haitian-Creole, or Cantonese preferred. Benefits · The salary range for this role is $47,170-$56,445, commensurate with experience.
