About the Role This is a hybrid role that sits at the intersection of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and technical system integration. The Integration & FP&A Consultant bridges the gap between finance teams and technology platforms - designing and delivering both robust financial models and the data pipelines and integrations that power them. You are equally comfortable building a multi-entity budget model in Adaptive Planning as you are writing a Python script to automate data extraction from a REST API. You bring financial acumen and technical depth, and you thrive working across both domains in a single engagement. Responsibility and Accountability Working closely with the engagement lead, you are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of both financial modelling and integration components within a project scope. FP&A Skills Requirements Experience designing and delivering financial models, budgeting, and forecasting solutions Ability to translate complex client financial processes into scalable planning structures Experience developing multi-company consolidation models Ability to unpack client-specific processes, propose improvements, and implement solutions Experience with EPM tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning and Board Integration & Technical Requirements Experience designing and building data integrations between source systems and FP&A platforms (e.g. ERP, HRIS, CRM to Adaptive Planning or Board) Ability to develop Python scripts and automation workflows to extract, transform, and load financial and operational data Experience with RESTful APIs and other integration protocols to connect client systems Working knowledge of JSON and XML data formats Experience with tools such as Postman, pandas, or similar for API testing and data manipulation Understanding of relational databases and SQL for querying and data validation Experience building and maintaining data pipelines that support automated reporting and planning cycles Ability to identify opportunities to automate manual financial processes through scripting and integration tooling Document integration architecture, data flows, and technical specifications Troubleshoot data quality issues and resolve integration failures proactively Soft Skills & Professional Qualities A confident and clear communicator - able to translate technical concepts for finance audiences and vice versa Enjoys working collaboratively within a team, guiding and enabling others for shared success Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities Effective planning and organisational skills with high attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently Experience in a professional services or consulting environment is beneficial Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
