Responsibilities

SOME OF YOUR SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES COULD INCLUDE:

  • Maintain accurate claims records, manage claim systems, and support credit control with Underwriting/Accounts.
  • Investigate and settle standard claims, including coverage evaluation and determining appropriate reserving levels
  • Direct external service providers (e.g., loss adjusters) and assist with audits or new business claims procedures.
  • Proactively review and report on loss trends, prepare management reports, and refer cases beyond authority with proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, market management, and operations teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring adherence to Allianz Commercial Claims Standards.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • A degree in Economics, Law, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in claims handling, with knowledge of Lines of Business (LoB) products, portfolios, and technical expertise in specific areas.
  • A solid understanding of regional and local insurance markets, including competitor landscapes.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively convey ideas and messages in both written and verbal formats.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to gather information from diverse sources, analyze data thoroughly, and draw well-reasoned conclusions.
