Axiom is looking for a Financial Management Analyst to support the DoD in the Washington, DC area.
An active Secret or Top Secret Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in DoD financial management, including PPBE experience.
• Familiarity with DOD budgeting practices.
• Proficiency in DoD financial systems (e.g., GFEBS, DEAMS, DAI, or FM Suite tools).
• Experience with DoD budget formulation and justification.
• Familiarity with DOD budget approval processes.
• Knowledge of DoD appropriations categories (O&M, RDT&E, etc.).

• Support preparation, justification, and execution of financial division budgets.
• Monitor, collect, and reconcile obligation and expenditure data.
• Track approved, deferred, and released funds and maintain proper audit trails.
• Assist with the development of decision support tools, graphs, and briefings.
• Ensure compliance with DoD (dept. and divisional) financial guidance, policies, and controls.
• Provide data call support and financial input to higher headquarters as needed.
• Assist in developing and maintaining multi-year budget plans.
• Analyze historical data and trends to support budget recommendations.
• Coordinate with leadership to justify budget requests.
• Prepare spend plans, execution summaries, and reprogramming documentation.
• Respond to financial data calls with accurate, timely submissions.
