Description
The Senior Financial Analyst – ICR Cost of Sales (COS) is responsible for supporting the annual budget and monthly forecast for company restaurants cost of sales margin. The role will closely partner with teams across the business to capture, understand and align on key cost of sales inputs. The position requires strong collaboration and business partnering abilities to ensure proper and accurate metrics are provided to create accurate forecasts. This position sits within our Atlanta based Global Support Center with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time. RESPONSIBILITIES COS Margin- Budget and Forecast Own process of collecting budget/forecast inputs and loading to system Act as a business partner to support, validate and understand drivers of budget/forecast Seek opportunities to optimize processes and enhance day-to-day operations Strive to improve budget/forecast accuracy Month End Close Responsible for reporting on and analyzing monthly results including identification of key variance drivers and bridging results Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various functions (accounting, corporate finance, restaurant ops, pricing, supply chain) to understand performance drivers Update and maintain key metrics, reporting and presentation materials Perform variance analyses, offering comprehensive explanations of key drivers and provide critical insights and actional recommendations to leadership teams Promotion Support Provide analytical support for sales and profit impacts of brand promotions and initiatives Act as PMO leader for brand initiatives to ensure expectations, deliverables and timelines are communicated Other and Ad Hoc Support Help drive greater visibility into mix and discounting effects on COS margin Function as a true business partner, addressing ad hoc requests and ensuring the success of the teams EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 4-year degree in finance, accounting or related field required 3+ years of experience in finance or similar role REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES Effective communication skills, including presenting to cross functional teams and executive level stakeholders Strong partnership and collaboration abilities Ability to effectively multi-task projects with competing priorities and work under tight deadlines Experience working with large data sets and creating reporting The ability to mine data to draw relevant conclusions about business results and craft recommendations Self-starter and problem solver with strong business acumen with the ability to anticipate issues and think through solutions Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Experience with enterprise planning and reporting software (e.g. Hyperion, epbcs and SmartView) Inspire is a multi-brand restaurant company whose portfolio includes more than 33,000 Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and SONIC restaurants worldwide.
