Description
The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a qualified Financial Manager for a position in the Dayton, Ohio area. This position provides direct support to a major acquisition program of the utmost importance and with a direct impact on National Security. A successful candidate will be a confident self-starter and will have the ability to react to flexible tasking. The candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and will be comfortable interacting with executive-level customer and development contractor / system integrator personnel regarding matters of significant importance to the project.

Duties of this position will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing financial management and accounting functions, processes, and analytical methods to gather, analyze, evaluate, and present information required by the customer
  • Budget forecasting, program or financial execution reporting and reviews, cost estimates and studies, Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis and/or provide technical advice and guidance to the government on all matters relating to budget, cost, schedule, or EVM
  • Drafting documentation to maintain and develop cost estimates for programs including airframes/systems, Combat Systems, Special Projects, and related efforts
  • Providing advisory and draft documentation support for the development of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM), President’s Budgets, tracking and reporting funds execution on an on-going basis
  • Assisting with budget and financial analysis, obligation and expenditure forecasting, funds management, funds status reporting, funds control techniques/systems, and with accounting and finance systems/procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years DoD Financial Management acquisition experience
  • Experience with major weapon system acquisition
  • Experience working with a government program office in a contractor or government role
  • BA in Finance, Accounting or a related field from an accredited university
  • Must currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered

Desired Qualifications:

  • Financial Management certification (DoD, APDP, SDFM, etc.)
  • MBA or comparable graduate-level business degree
