As a Financial Markets Data Specialist, you’ll play a key role in the daily publication of 6,000+ custom indices across asset classes (equity, commodities, options, etc.). You’ll work closely with front-office teams, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality delivery. This is a unique opportunity for IT professionals eager to deepen their understanding of financial products, market data, and high-frequency trading environments! Location: Lisbon Main Responsibilities: Ensures smooth daily publication of indices and instruments (ETR, VWAP, Surface, etc.). Analyzes root causes of publication failures using tools like SQL, Splunk, Camunda, Dynatrace, and Bloomberg. Works closely with different stakeholders (business and IT teams, external data providers) to align technical solutions with business needs. Oversees and improves workflow systems, ensuring timely execution and issue resolution. Provides end-to-end support for index lifecycle configurations and system readiness. Qualifications Profile: Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, REST APIs, JSON, Spring Boot, Excel. Experience in troubleshooting technical issues related to servers, connectivity, and script. Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues under pressure. Fluent English (mandatory). Excellent communicator across technical and business teams. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and compliance. Team player with a proactive mindset and ability to multitask. Comfortable in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.
