FINANCIAL OFFICER - Entry-level position Part-time 0.6 FTE Commencing as soon as available We are seeking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented part-time Financial Officer to support the Finance Team. For more information, please visit our website About You: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship, as well as the following skills and experience: Currently studying or recently completed Certificate III/IV in Business Administration, Accounting, or similar. Basic understanding of financial processes (e.g., invoicing, reconciliations). Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. Strong communication and organisational skills. A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.. Your Role: Respond to financial enquiries via phone, email, and in person. Assist with finance-related inboxes and process purchase orders, invoices, and statements. Reconcile credit/debit cards and petty cash. Follow up on overdue accounts and declined transactions. Maintain EFTPOS, Uniform Shop, and fundraising receipts. Assist with payment plans, family account updates in Edumate, and debtor communications. Provide general administrative support, including filing, archiving, and reception backup. Support the Finance Manager and Business Manager as needed.
