OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical P2P Data Analyst to join our dynamic Procurement-to-Pay (P2P) team. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, a solid understanding of P2P and T&E processes, and expertise in data normalization and reporting. This role involves leveraging advanced analytical tools and methodologies to provide actionable insights, enhance operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with Finance, Sourcing, IT, and executive leadership to drive data-driven improvements across the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, PTP, T&E, or related fields, with demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Jira, Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, and similar tools. Strong experience with Zip, NetSuite, and ERP platforms preferred.
  • Proven experience in data normalization, hygiene, and quality control processes.
  • Ability to engage with executive stakeholders and influence data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience leading data strategy initiatives, developing KPIs, and owning strategic reporting frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expertise in managing data environments for global, high-volume organizations.
  • Familiarity with sourcing analytics and procurement reporting.
  • Advanced certifications in data analytics, finance, or process optimization (e.g., CPA, MBA, or related).
  • Experience with machine learning or advanced predictive analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all data from PTP systems (e.g., Zip, NetSuite, ERP) is normalized for consistency, reliability, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and enforce data hygiene practices, including routine audits, error checks, and validation protocols to maintain high data quality.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies or inaccuracies, ensuring integrity in all reports and dashboards.
  • Partner with IT and functional teams to streamline data flow and ensure accuracy across platforms.
  • Design and deliver executive-level dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Databricks, providing real-time insights and performance metrics.
  • Leverage predictive analytics and trend analyses to uncover opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Sourcing Center of Excellence (COE) to enhance dashboards, integrate new data sources, and ensure consistent reporting practices.
  • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for leadership teams across Finance, Sourcing, and Procurement.
  • Serve as the primary data analytics resource for PTP and T&E operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to automate data workflows and reporting processes.
  • Assess existing PTP and T&E processes, recommending system enhancements and analytics solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in data analytics and PTP reporting to continually elevate practices.
  • Liaise with executive stakeholders to align data insights with organizational goals and support data-driven decision-making.
