ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a Financial Controller to join our Client Advisory Services team. This is a client-facing role that goes far beyond traditional bookkeeping. You’ll be supporting multiple growing businesses with the financial leadership they need, which they may not have in-house.
Your work will combine complex bookkeeping, balance sheet management, and financial reporting and analysis, with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections. You’ll also take ownership of spend management, credit worthiness, accounts receivable monitoring, and finance KPIs, while delivering controllership-level insights and advisory services that help business owners make confident, data-driven decisions.
This is not a transactional data-entry role. Our clients see us as partners, relying on our expertise in financial operations, compliance, and strategy to move their businesses forward.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage monthly and annual financials across multiple client accounts.
• Oversee profit & loss, balance sheet reconciliations, and close with accuracy and timeliness.
• Deliver financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis that guide client strategy.
• Lead budgeting and cash flow management, providing forward-looking insights and recommendations.
• Monitor and advise on spend management, creditworthiness, and accounts receivable performance.
• Ensure policy compliance and maintain best practices in financial operations.
• Provide advisory services to business owners, translating financials into actionable strategies.
• Collaborate with the HireEffect™ team to optimize processes and deliver consistent, high-quality service.
