POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial Operations Manager supports the financial operations of the firm, focusing on accurate financial reporting and daily accounting tasks. This role assists senior leadership in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining financial controls, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. The position is hands-on, working closely with the finance team to execute core accounting functions and contribute to the firm’s operational success.
REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
Preferred Certifications: CPA or CMA certification (or working toward certification) preferred but not required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Directly supervising staff day to day work, as well as scheduling, tracking time and paid time off, approving overtime and payroll documentation, providing performance feedback. Includes working with the Chief Operating Officer and Human Resources on resolving personnel issues and making recommendations for personnel growth, duty or location changes, employee reprimands, and terminations.
