Description

Under the direction of the CON Finance Director, responsible for oversight of financial related tasks and appropriate reconciliations for the college and it’s Federal Qualified Healthcare Center (Total Health Care Center). Provide leadership for accounting and budgeting efforts of assigned college units and the Total Health Care Center in collaboration with the OSU College of Nursing and the Family Practice Department OSUTHCC.
Responsible for complex financial transactions and applies knowledge of financial principles and concepts to oversee the general ledger. Position will perform annual budget planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial reporting and analysis for assigned CON units and the Total Health Care Center. Lead quarterly budget and reporting meetings with unit leaders. Position will also participate in monthly and year-end close reconciliation efforts for the college and the Total Healthcare Center. Will identify and implement strategic initiatives and collaborate with college leaders to find creative solutions to college financial needs. Develops and creates improvements to current processes and practices; educates and collaborates with stakeholders around department and college financials; provides coverage when needed for other finance team members. Assist units with the creation of contract documentation (agreements, MOUs, MOAs, etc.).
Position will also oversee all aspects of the CON earnings operation’s portfolio, which will include onboarding of earnings operations personnel. Ensure policy compliance and training requirements are met by earnings operations personnel. Perform monthly reconciliation of revenue and expense details. Coordinate invoicing for both internal and external contracts or agreements. Oversee college cash handling procedures. Other duties as assigned.
This position will also have an indirect relationship with the Executive Director of the Total Health Care Center. Position will also be responsible for providing monthly reporting updates to the Board of the Total Health Care Center.
This position requires sustained periods using a keyboard and performing other computer work as well as reviewing documents both in hard copy and electronic formats. Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, which permits the employee to function in a general office environment to accomplish tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 6 years of relevant experience required. 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.
