Description:
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a quantitative field like Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics, along with an MBA or CPA (acquired or working towards one).
- You have a solid understanding of finance, accounting, and financial analysis.
- You are able to connect business strategy to financial drivers and turn that into detailed financial analysis, with a keen eye for accuracy and quality.
- You have experience in Corporate FP&A or a Finance Business Partner role, along with a strong grasp of financial planning or database software.
- You are proficient in Excel and capable of auditing complex financial analyses.
- You possess a solid understanding of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and relational database concepts, and the ability to apply them to data warehousing and analysis.
- You have experience with Power BI or similar analytics platforms to create financial and operational reports.
BONUS SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- You have familiarity with DAX and Power Query.
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
In this opportunity, you’ll support the FP&A function and Corporate Development Team in driving Svante’s strategic goals through accurate financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. You’ll gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights that enhance decision-making across the organization. In doing so, you will play a critical role in optimizing the company’s financial performance and supporting strategic initiatives.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE:
- You’ll support corporate financial planning and budgeting processes, including input, maintenance, and ongoing reporting of actual vs. budget data, and related variance analysis.
- You’ll support ESG reporting processes, including input, maintenance, improvement and ongoing reporting for internal and external audiences.
- You will work with business leaders across Svante to develop, automate, and maintain recurring business review materials, reports and dashboards, etc. to support strategic and tactical business decision making.
- You will ensure integrity of all reported KPIs and metrics and contribute data strategies to support financial modeling.
- You’ll collaborate with Finance & Accounting, Operations, and Digital Business teams to develop and continuously improve Svante’s centralized data ecosystem and budgeting, financial forecasting, and modelling tools.
- You will maintain relationships with external system providers to ensure robust systems and platforms used for data analysis.
