ROLE PURPOSE: The FP&A Manager supports Thermacell’s financial planning and analysis processes by delivering accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and dependable forecasting. This role plays a key part in driving financial visibility across the business and enabling informed decision-making in a fast-paced, seasonal, and growth-oriented environment. The FP&A Manager will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and the broader Finance team to support budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and monthly reporting, and to improve the quality and efficiency of financial processes. STATUS: Exempt WORKING HOURS: Typically, between 9-5pm M-F (open to some flexibility) WORK LOCATION: Corporate Office - 32 Crosby Dr Bedford MA 01730 After successful onboarding (approx. 6 months), eligible for a hybrid arrangement with an expectation of minimum 3 days in office (Tue/Wed/Thu) or as business needs require. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Planning & Reporting Support monthly close activities in partnership with Global Corporate Controller. Prepare monthly management reporting packages, including variance analysis vs. budget and forecast. Maintain and update financial models to reflect current business performance. Assist in preparing materials for the Executive Team and Board. Forecasting & Budgeting Support the annual budgeting process across all departments by collecting inputs, updating models, and ensuring accuracy. Assist in rolling monthly or quarterly forecasts, updating assumptions, and communicating changes to stakeholders. Track risks and opportunities vs. plan and support the Finance team in developing mitigation recommendations. Business & Profitability Analysis Conduct customer-level and SKU-level profitability analysis and help identify improvement opportunities. Prepare promotional ROI, pricing analysis, and other commercial performance reporting. Partner with Sales and Marketing to support cost-to-serve evaluations and identify operational or margin improvement opportunities. Cross-Functional Partnership Work with department budget owners to help them understand financial results, trends, and variances. Ensure financial data is accurate and timely by partnering with stakeholders across Operations, Commercial, and Supply Chain. Help improve data integrity by identifying issues and recommending solutions. Process Improvement & Tools Assist with the continuous improvement of FP&A processes, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analytics. Support ongoing enhancements to dashboards, reports, and data sources. Learn and support NetSuite (or other financial systems) as needed for reporting and analysis. Ad Hoc Projects Complete ad hoc analysis as assigned by the CFO or senior leadership. Support strategic projects by delivering reliable data, modeling options, and assessing financial implications. COMPENSATION Compensation for this position will include a competitive base salary ($143,500 - $176,600) and an Annual Target Bonus opportunity. Details provided separately.
