Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining financial models to predict future performance and analyze various scenarios.
  • Supporting the annual budgeting process and developing operational forecasts.
  • Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying variances to explain financial results and suggest improvements.
  • Assessing the potential impact and likelihood of identified risks using data and analytical tools.
  • Creating and presenting regular financial reports and dashboards for leadership, highlighting key trends and insights.
  • Monitoring costs, performing cost center controlling, and assisting department heads with financial management.
  • Working with other departments, such as Accounting, Sales, and Operations, to gather data and align financial strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is crucial for creating models and performing analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, key financial ratios, and accounting principles.
  • The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights and solutions.
  • The ability to present complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance professionals.
  • Current or previous FINRA Series 6 or 7 licensing a plus, but not required.
