Description
Your role We are looking for a curious, commercially-minded FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team at Sunday Natural. You will own inventory and cost performance analytics end-to-end, partnering daily with Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams to turn numbers into decisions. This is a high-visibility role in a fast-moving, data-driven company; ideal for someone who thrives on ownership and is eager to crack challenges. You will shape the financial backbone of a rapidly scaling consumer business - in the fast growing market of health & nutrition. Own and analyze inventory KPIs (e.g. turnover rate, Days on Hand, aging, stockouts, excess/obsolete inventory) and surface actionable insights to stakeholders. Lead forecasting and budgeting for inventory, manufacturing costs, and COGS across all SKUs and sales channels (D2C, Amazon, and beyond). Evaluate standard vs. actual cost variances, purchase price variance, and bill of materials accuracy across product lines. Prepare clear, well-structured monthly performance decks with inventory and margin commentary for executive and board audiences. Partner closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams to understand cost drivers and recommend optimizations. Conduct scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of sourcing, packaging, shipping, and fulfillment changes. Lead working capital planning, identifying opportunities to optimize safety stock and reorder levels. Drive system and process improvements around inventory tracking, reporting, and SKU-level profitability. Build and maintain BI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to automate reporting and improve decision-making speed. Explore and apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate financial analysis, automate recurring tasks, and generate deeper insights from large datasets. Your profile Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration. 3+ years of experience in FP&A (Controlling), cost analysis, or finance, ideally within manufacturing or consumer products. Solid understanding of inventory accounting, manufacturing cost structures, and D2C fulfillment economics. High proficiency in financial modeling, and ERP systems (preferably Odoo or LucaNet). Experience building visual, actionable reports using BI tools (Tableau, GetKlar, Power BI, or similar). Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate insights clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences. Hands-on mindset; comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you own your work end-to-end. Contact Anna Sießenbüttel About us Sunday Natural emerged from a long-standing passion and research in the fields of health, healing, and personal growth. The lack of natural, high-quality products on the market was the original motivation for founding Sunday Natural in 2013. We aim to produce the products we ourselves would love to buy – as natural as possible, absolutely pure, free from any additives, and of the highest quality. In a strategic partnership with CVC, Sunday Natural is now one of Germany's most renowned quality manufacturers, with its own research and development department in Berlin. For the continuous improvement of our products, we collaborate with selected research institutes, scientists, therapists, farmers, and professional associations. We take our ecological responsibility very seriously: that’s why the majority of our product range is vegan. We also take an innovative approach to packaging: most of our products are packaged in glass, making them almost entirely recyclable. Our diverse team in Berlin consists of over 350 employees from more than 40 nationalities and continues to grow – but at a sustainable pace. Our goal is to foster a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive work environment with a diverse group of motivated, talented, and visionary team members. We highly value equality of opportunity and inclusivity, and we would like to particularly encourage women and candidates from under-represented backgrounds to apply, even if you don’t match with 100% of the requirements.
