We’re looking for someone with strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex and technical policies into easy-to-understand guidance. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage the development and maintenance of a range of policies and materials, is essential. Experience in managing and implementing changes to financial policy and governance frameworks is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As financial policy and governance manager within our finance directorate, you play a significant role in impacting our Crown Prosecution Service financial policy and governance. You drive continuous improvement and support our strategic aims. You support the development and maintenance of a robust financial policy and governance framework, aligning with government best practices, and enhancing financial control and accountability across the organisation. Your role involves managing an effective service for handling queries and requests for advice and training, driving continuous improvement in financial policy and governance, and supporting accounting officers and budget holders.
