Description

We are in search of a Financial Project Manager to join our team in Covington, Louisiana. This role involves the management and coordination of financial projects, ensuring the efficient processing of customer applications, the maintenance of accurate customer records, and the resolution of customer inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operations of the finance department including accounts payable, billings, collections, and payroll
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations, and general ledger analysis
  • Generate cash-flow reports, project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash
  • Coordinate the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure timely cash collection
  • Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners
  • Assist in the production of the annual budget and forecasts, and monitor them on a monthly basis
  • Implement and oversee policy manuals and policy implementation
  • Utilize software like Dynamics GP and Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks
  • Handle both high-level and day-to-day functions while working directly with the accounting/administration team, executive leaders, and operations.
  • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
  • Experience with Month End Close procedures
  • Familiarity with Policy Manuals and their creation
  • Proven track record of successful Policy Implementation
  • Expertise in using Dynamics GP software
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
