Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Reporting Accountant will be a key player in delivering accurate, insightful, and timely financial reporting to underpin critical business decisions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of statutory accounts in line with relevant accounting standards
  • Supporting year-end and interim audit processes, acting as the key contact for external auditors
  • Ensuring robust financial controls are maintained and documented
  • Preparing technical accounting papers where required
  • Month-end reporting activities, including reconciliations and journals
  • Preparing consolidated accounts for group reporting
  • Balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
  • Providing financial analysis and commentary to senior stakeholders
  • Assisting with the implementation of new accounting standards or group policies
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting processes
