Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Reporting Analyst to join our accounting team. This position plays a key role in preparing, analyzing, and delivering accurate financial reports that drive strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
Position Summary
The Reporting Analyst will report directly to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and support company-wide financial reporting. This individual will be responsible for developing financial models, preparing forecasts, identifying variances, and ensuring the accuracy of all financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Analyze financial data and create reports on key performance metrics, including Pamp;L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
  • Identify and explain variances between actual results and forecasts.
  • Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal control procedures.
  • Gather and interpret large data sets from multiple systems to support business planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 4–8 years of experience in financial reporting (automotive or dealership industry experience preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling).
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software; “Procede” experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI preferred.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
