POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Analyst to support the firm’s finance and accounting department. The Financial Reporting Analyst will be a key contributor to the finance team and report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. This position will have the opportunity to elevate Fisher Phillips’ financial reporting function and must be comfortable translating raw financial data into insightful, executive-level reports. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong understanding of legal industry financials, works confidently with relational databases, and possesses a strong track-record of implementing financial reporting solutions using SQL, SSRS, and other financial reporting tools. The role will also work cross-functionally, emphasizing the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or information systems
• Proficient with law firm accounting systems and table structures (e.g., Aderant or Elite 3E)
• Advanced experience leveraging SQL, SSRS, BI software, and MS Excel to produce financial reporting
• Demonstrated expertise in translating complex financial data into clear, concise visual reports that effectively inform and guide executive decision-making
• Proven ability to engage with stakeholders to gather and assess technical business requirements, and to design and implement reporting solutions that align with the organization’s strategic objectives
• 5+ years of experience working in a global law firm preferred
