Printpack is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Financial Reporting Analyst II. This Atlanta-based role reports to the Financial Reporting Manager II. It follows a hybrid schedule, with one required on-site day per week and additional in-office days during peak reporting periods to support collaboration and key deliverables.
This is a well-rounded position that involves all aspects of corporate accounting and financial reporting, including external and internal financial reporting, global consolidation, technical accounting research, general ledger accounting for the corporate entity, planning/forecasting, and complex accounting transactions. This position will require strong analytical skills, exceptional collaboration and organizational capabilities, and a technical accounting background.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

• Review work performed by other team members
• Internal financial reporting for senior leadership
• Year-end financial statements and footnotes
• Debt reporting, including covenant calculations
• Annual benefit plan financial statements
• Ad hoc reporting

Monthly corporate general ledger close

• Review and oversee work performed by the Accounting Specialist and Corporate Accounting Intern
• Perform a variety of technically complex accounting functions, including those related to foreign exchange rates, LIFO, derivatives, leases, revenue recognition, and intercompany activity
• Prepare and/ or review accounting transactions for corporate activity and monthly reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
• Perform analysis on account detail and business results, and investigate exceptions
• Record consolidation entries for external reporting
• Research complex technical accounting matters and document conclusions
• Collaborate with the accounting and finance organization on technical accounting matters
• Assist with the implementation of new accounting pronouncements

Planning/forecasting

• Assist with the annual planning and quarterly forecasting process, including coordination with corporate departments

Other Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects within the financial reporting department
• Coordinate audit requests with external auditors and serve as a key interface
• Serve as primary interface for bank audits
• Prepare and/or update financial reporting process documentation, including process flow narratives, risk points, and internal controls

• Strong technical accounting skills and understanding of accounting information systems
• Mature, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Passion for learning and business process excellence
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active CPA license strongly preferred
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Oracle (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne) and/or OneStream a plus
