Are you looking to join our team as a Financial Reporting Analyst? Your role Key Responsibilities: Preparation of Group Financial Reporting Packages in accordance with IFRS/BRSA requirements on a monthly basis Following up on the Group’s updates to accounting policies and procedures and communicating these to stakeholders Supporting the month-end financial statement closing process Preparation of GBI statutory financial statements and disclosures for the annual report Delivering ad-hoc reports and preparing presentations for the Bank’s top management Who are we looking for A colleague open-minded, very curious by nature and passionate about your job. Skills/Qualifications Analytical Thinking: Ability to critically analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or potential areas of improvement. Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy and detail, especially in reviewing and preparing financial reports and controls. Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying problems and developing solutions, especially related to financial processes and control issues. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams (e.g., IT, Finance, and Auditors) and external stakeholders. Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team, both within the Financial Control and Reporting department and across the organization. Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of reporting, audits, and control processes. Adaptability: Flexibility in handling changes, especially in the implementation of new systems, accounting standards, or processes. Leadership & Coaching: Experience in leading teams and coaching junior employees within the department. Proactivity: A self-starter mindset to initiate and implement control improvements and ensure ongoing compliance with reporting requirements. Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field: A strong academic background in financial management or accountancy.
