JOB SUMMARY

A large publicly traded technology company is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their team. This position will report to the Senior Director of Accounting Operations.
The role will pay a competitive base salary up to $80k, plus 10% and 20% equity (RSUs - $16K, 4 year vest).

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to internal policies and promote consistent processes across business functions.
  • Drive improvements in operational reporting by identifying inefficiencies, suggesting enhancements, and executing solutions for both legacy and new reporting needs.
  • Evaluate and optimize data quality processes to enhance scalability, improve efficiency, and support smooth transitions across systems.
  • Address and resolve data-related questions from both internal stakeholders and external customers to maintain database accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop and implement standardized procedures for vendor onboarding and management to ensure consistency and streamline vendor interactions.
  • Support the creation and analysis of performance metrics within Shared Services to inform decision-making and track team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with IT to design technical solutions and assist in rolling out Business Intelligence tools that meet reporting and analysis needs.
  • Conduct regression testing on Oracle Installed Base changes to confirm functionality and system reliability post-update.
  • Monitor and assess key data quality metrics to evaluate performance trends and support ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Build strong interdepartmental relationships to influence improvements in business processes and strengthen collaboration across teams.

Basic Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required
  • 3 years of related financial and/or accounting experience in the technology industry
  • Large ERP experience, Oracle preferred.
  • Previous software industry/public company experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, & strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to proactively anticipate and resolve potential issuesProficient in Microsoft applications including Excel and Word.
