SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Financial Reporting Assistant Manager will be a key contributor in quarterly and annual financial statement preparation and review in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations, consolidation process and financial review and analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Master’s is a plus
• Four or more years of U.S. GAAP accounting and financial reporting experience
• Experience with public companies, energy industry experience is preferred
• Experience with consolidation and multiple currencies
• CPA preferred
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Effective teamwork and communication skills
• Strong with Excel

• Prepares quarterly and annual reports for filing with the SEC.
• Manages internal and external auditors to provide support for audited financial statements and assist in implementation, maintenance, and adherence to internal controls under SOX.
• Assists in aspects of monthly close, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and advanced account analysis.
• Prepares and reviews monthly consolidation and equity transactions.
• Assists with complex accounting events.
• Identifies, recommends, and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly bank reporting.
