Job Title: Manager, Financial Reporting (1-Year Contract)

About the Role
Our client, a respected organization in the charitable sector, is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting for a 1-year contract. This is a high-impact role ideal for a CPA with strong fund accounting experience and a passion for mission-driven work. You will lead the preparation of financial statements, manage multiple audits, and oversee regulatory filings, including OSC filing and T3010 returns.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare year-end financial statements and note disclosures in accordance with CPA Handbook standards
Manage and coordinate three full audits
Oversee quarterly fund allocations and reporting for: Restricted Funds, Endowment Funds and Annuity Funds
Lead quarterly OSC filings and ensure compliance
Prepare and manage complex T3010 charity returns
Collaborate with investment and fund managers. Oversee investment reconciliations
Extract and manipulate data in Excel; integrate with Sage 300

Act as the primary liaison with external auditors

• CPA designation or equivalent accounting certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar financial reporting or fund accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of fund accounting, including restricted, endowment, and annuity funds.
• Proven expertise in preparing financial statements and managing external audits.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and worksheet management.
• Familiarity with charity-specific financial processes, including T3010 returns.
• Experience working with Sage 300 or comparable financial software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
