Job Summary: Prepares and distributes periodic financial statements for users other than those directly employed by the organization. Ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organization policies. Consolidates divisional and subsidiary financial accounts in a timely and accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements. Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects. Develop and establish specific accounting practices and policies for teams to follow to ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting policies. Collaborate with GD-OTS location finance personnel on accounting matters and to provide financial support. Impact of the Role:

Essential Functions:

• Prepares periodic financial statements required for external reporting.
• Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines.
• Consolidates journal entries and financial accounts to be utilized in internal and external financial statements.
• Prepares internal reports as required.
• Researches accounting rules and regulations and makes recommendations regarding company policy.
• May provide support and assistance to external auditors.

• Required Qualifications:

• • Required education and experience: Associate’s Degree and 5-7 years’ experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
• Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications:
