ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is sourcing a Financial Reporting Support Consultant for a 6-month contract.

About the Opportunity

• Design and improve financial dashboards and reporting packages using tools like Excel, BI platforms, and ERP applications.
• Take ownership of month-end and quarter-end deliverables, including reconciliations, management reporting, and performance reviews.
• Build and refine models to support forecasts, budgets, and long-term planning activities.
• Partner with colleagues in product, sales, engineering, and operations to align financial insights with broader business goals.
• Investigate variances and highlight key trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership.
• Provide day-to-day support for finance systems while ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
• Document workflows, recommend process improvements, and contribute to ongoing systems optimization.
• Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests from senior management.

About You

• Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in financial reporting, planning, or analytical roles.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, automation techniques) and exposure to BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with ERP or financial software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks).
• Strong critical-thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communicator able to translate financial data into business insights.
