As a Financial Service Representative III, you’ll take a leadership role in delivering advanced financial services and mentoring your team. Requirements Delivering Exceptional Member Service You’ll create a seamless, positive experience for members by delivering outstanding service in cash handling, account origination, and loan origination environments. By listening carefully and anticipating needs, you’ll ensure every interaction reflects our mission and values. Providing Personalized Financial Solutions You’ll apply consultative sales techniques to introduce members to advanced products and services such as IRAs, business accounts, title loans, and real estate loans. You’ll offer tailored advice that elevates financial health and positions Securityplus as a trusted partner in every stage of life. Driving Growth and Engagement You’ll take initiative to source new business opportunities through proactive conversations in the lobby, teller windows, and community spaces. This includes driving growth in share-of-wallet, building employer partner relationships, and expanding membership through community events and activities. You’ll also encourage members to leverage our full range of access channels, including mobile and online banking, ITMs/ATMs, remote deposit, and shared branch services. Mentoring and Team Leadership You’ll act as a knowledge resource for the team, mentoring colleagues and preparing them for future career paths. By leveraging your in-depth knowledge of products, services, policies, and procedures, you’ll promote a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Building Community Connections You’ll actively represent Securityplus in the community by leading presentations, engaging with local organizations, and promoting the benefits of membership. Your efforts will help grow the Credit Union’s reputation and reach. Ensuring Operational Excellence You’ll ensure daily branch operations run smoothly, maintain compliance with all credit union policies, procedures, and regulations, and safeguard member accounts by serving as the first line of defense against fraud and theft. You’ll foster relationships across business lines to deliver exceptional service and maintain a high standard of performance. What You’ll Bring to the Table: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required. Three (3) years of experience in customer service, financial services, or sales, with a focus on providing tailored solutions. Strong consultative sales skills with a passion for helping members reach their financial goals. Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal. Experience in handling complex financial transactions and a deep understanding of financial products and services. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Eligibility to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) and maintain registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO). Availability to work Saturdays. Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation preferred.
