Description

At Juniper Wealth Management, we believe financial planning changes lives. We’re a growing, forward-thinking firm dedicated to supporting our team’s development and success. We take pride in our friendly, down-to-earth culture and our commitment to helping clients achieve their financial goals.
This is an exciting opportunity for an existing Financial Services Administrator. If you have a keen eye for detail, and a genuine interest in people—not just numbers—we’d love to hear from you.
Our mantra: to love the heck out of our clients (it normally has a cheeky swear in there but we thought we best be professional for the socials)!

SOME DETAILS..

✅ Part time office-based role in Preston, with the option to work from home sometimes if needed. We are looking for someone to work three days, but more days is negotiable. You’ll be expected in the office most days to be in touch with the advisers who are in and out of the office during the week.
✅Flexible working is fine with us; you want to go to your child’s assembly? Be our guest. Need to go to a hospital appointment? Absolutely fine. We trust you to get your hours in and your work done. We have core hours between 9am-3pm and you can work either side of those hours.
✅ Client-facing from day one – you are the client first port of call and so excellent client facing skills are essential. Most of our clients prefer phone calls so an excellent phone manner is essential.
✅ Working alongside experienced planners, being their support for client meetings. .
✅ A lot of the role involves booking and preparing for client meetings, completing and chasing letters of authority, solving some remuneration issues, and supporting our existing admin team.
✅ Being part of a small, friendly team, where you’ll be supported and valued.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR…

  • Essential experience: 2+ years in financial advice administration.
  • This is our most important essential criteria…The clients you will look after are mostly older in age, who don’t use much technology. A few don’t have the internet. We need a person who is ready to get on the phone with clients. Someone who is warm-hearted and kind. Someone who is willing to listen to our clients’ stories with buckets of empathy. You are the person who will know the children and grandchildren’s names, the one who understands why the client needs a home visit and the one sorting out any admin after a bereavement. We need an affectionate empath to look after our client base.
  • Technical skills: Strong knowledge of financial planning tools, products, and Microsoft Office. Use of Wealthcraft / Curo is desirable.
  • Attention to detail: A process-driven, organised approach with a high level of accuracy, including with spelling and grammar ( for instance, lots of our clients have the same name & so a good grasp on who is who will be needed)
  • Great communicator: Strong written and verbal skills, with a client-first mindset.
  • Team player: Someone who thrives in a small, collaborative firm.
  • A passion for making life easier for clients: Understanding that this job is about people, not just numbers.
