Capgemini Global Insights & Data business line is a market leader in the data, platform, and analytics across all regions and across many sectors (including financial services, consumer products, manufacturing & life sciences). Our offerings include end-2-end data integration to cloud platform, complete suite of AI engineering capabilities and a category of sector-based advanced analytics / AI solutions.
We are looking to fill the role of Insights & Data Head of Country for our Financial Services team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data & Analytics within the Financial Services sector and a passion for leveraging data and AI to drive business transformation.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in driving business growth in a sell and deliver professional services market focused on data management and advanced analytics Data Estate Modernization, Generative AI, Cloud Data Platforms, Advanced Analytics, and AI/ML projects.
  • Adept at eliciting and articulating data, advanced analytics, Generative AI, and AI/ML use cases. Must have experience building business cases/value realization models to illustrate business benefits.
  • Successfully led business units with 300+ people across teams delivering value to clients, while managing a profit and loss statement.
  • Strong full-cycle pre-sales experience.
  • Ability to utilize critical thinking skills, perform strategic planning and conduct project management.
  • Demonstrated ability as a strong collaborator who can work across multiple divisions and bring business solutions to clients alongside practices focus on SAP, Salesforce, Application Management, Consulting and Engineering, etc.
  • Experience leading and building teams both onshore and offshore consultants while providing mentorship.
  • Excellent client interaction, problem-solving & communication skills.
  • Data science or STEM degree is preferred.
  • High-level knowledge of defining and delivering innovation & business solutions to complex challenges enabled by new digital technologies.
  • Either experience of supporting business solution definition from within a consultancy or leading change across a business from within an internal business or IT function.
  • Experience in the delivery of digital enabled transformation programs.Previous experience leading projects across Europe would be advantagous.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and close key deal pursuits in the UK for Insights & Data. Leverage global assets developed around the world and tailor them to the local market to bring winning propositions to clients.
  • Network with global SMEs to develop tailored solutions that bring competitive advantage to local clients.
  • Convert winning sales into revenue and ensure year on year growth plans continue at a faster pace than the broader market.
  • Build a strong brand in the region for deep expertise in data & analytics through both individual contribution as well as recruitment of local subject matter experts.
  • Present solutions and respond to RFPs, review MSAs and other contractual agreements, and work with Project Management team on proposals and SOWs.Build strategy for accelerated growth in AI and Data. Engage with Group Account Executives to plan the overall client relationship strategy.

  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for our Financial Services Insights & Data offerings, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
    P&L Management : Oversee the financial performance of the Insights & Data business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    Client Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that leverage data and AI.
    Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of data and analytics professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
    Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data and AI and apply this knowledge to drive competitive advantage.
    Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and capability units, to ensure the successful delivery of Insights & Data solutions.
