About the role We are seeking a Financial Services Manager to support our Victorian (Gippsland) & Tasmanian region on a permanent, full-time basis. The Financial Services Manager is a leadership role responsible for driving growth and achieving budgeted earnings across the full suite of Financial Services products. To be successful, candidates must have experience in the agriculture industry or come from an agricultural background, with a strong understanding of rural environments and regional communities. Focused on expanding our market share across the Victorian Gippsland and Tasmania, you will be empowered to succeed by leveraging the support and expertise of the wider Elders network. Responsibilities Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of the Workplace Health and Safety Policy, procedures, and legislation. Take reasonable care for own health and safety, as well as that of others. Be a leader in the State for matters associated with all Financial Services products. Assess credit applications and develop high quality proposals for submissions for Elders Finance Livestock, Crop Input and Wool facilities. Manage the credit quality of the own balance sheet lending portfolio. Seek opportunities to expand Elders Financial Services offerings through businesses that Elders has acquired as well as greenfield sites. Implement network sales campaigns and training programs to grow sales across the full suite of Financial Services products, including: Elders Finance Livestock, Crop Input and Wool facilities, Livestock in transit warranty, Agri, commercial and asset finance referrals, home and personal finance referrals, insurance referrals and prepayment facilities Ensure 100% compliance with relevant statutory legislation (e.g., AML/CTF) Assist in developing and implementing a yearly pipeline of initiatives in order to support yearly growth ambitions in line with Elders Eight Point Plan. About you Understanding and prior experience in Agri-finance products and industry Demonstrated experience in implementing sales and marketing programs across a financial services product range Prior experience in the agriculture industry or a strong agricultural background, with demonstrated understanding of rural and regional communities. Ability to work well with the Elders network, diverse teams, roles and levels of management Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong Influencing skills Demonstrated skills in writing credit proposals and analysis as well as portfolio management Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable) About Elders As a trusted Australian agribusiness, we have played an important role in the agricultural sector for 185 years.
