FINANCIAL SERVICES OFFICER

  • Based in the Sydney CBD with flexible work arrangements available
    Classification grade: Clerk Grade 1/2
    Salary: $75,728 - $82,329 p.a. (excluding employer’s contribution to superannuation and annualised leave loading.)
    Work type: Full-Time – 35 hours per week, Temporary role up to 12 months (this is subject to each role) – Presence in the office is required 3-4 times per week. * Our primary place of work is the CSO Office located at 60-70 Elizabeth Street, Sydney. Please note we will be relocating to a new premises located at Parkline Place, 252 Pitt Street, Sydney in July 2026.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Financial Services Officer plays a critical role as being the first point of contact for the data entry and processing of payables, receivables, and invoicing. This position ensures that all financial transactions are handled in accordance with CSO policies and procedures, while also maintaining compliance with:

  • The Treasurer’s Directions
  • The Government Sector Finance Act 2018
  • ATO GST compliance requirements

By adhering to these standards, the Financial Services Officer contribute to the achievement of Finance and Support services objectives and deliverables ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.
