Description O Bee Credit Union is hiring a Financial Services Representative to join our amazing team. This is a full-time role that plays a vital part in supporting our mission, our members, and our one-of-a-kind company culture. What You’ll Do: As our Financial Services Representative, you will provide financial services to members including loan services, business development and performing account transactions as needed. Your primary responsibilities will be to work toward and assist in the positive image and growth of the credit union by providing world class member service. The Details: · Location: Tacoma, WA · Pay Range: $24.87-$37.31, plus the ability to earn on average $500 per month in incentives. The range is dependent on the level of position and prior experience. · Sign On Bonus: $1,500 after 90 days of employment. We offer a competitive benefits package, including: · Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance options · 100% 401(k) match up to 4% of your salary · Tuition reimbursement · Charitable Volunteer Hours · Incentive pay for achieving individual or company goals Responsibilities: · Be the primary lender for the branch – responsible for most loan inquiries, including credit cards, personal loans, auto loans and HELOC applications received through the branch. · Handle consumer loans of varying complexity, value, and risk. · Gather background information on loan applicants by interviewing loan applicants and obtaining credit bureau reports. · Responsible for opening consumer and business accounts and cross selling applicable products and services. · Comply with credit union policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations. · Knowledgeable of all share account products and work closely with members to open accounts which will best fit their needs. · Educate members to include recommending and cross selling additional products and services when building relationships with members. · Keep up to date on all credit union products and services, policies and procedures, and rules and regulations. · Assist in attaining lending goals for the branch and organization. · Respond to members’ requests regarding account balances, transaction history, and complaints. · Resolve issues and directs them to the appropriate staff member for specific information and assistance. · May be required to fulfill MSR II duties including teller transactions, vault and TCR balancing and account research. Requirements · Basic math, spelling, reading and letter writing principles. · At least one-year experience and an MSR 1, MSR II, preferred. · Six months to one year of customer service experience. · Six months of cash handling experience. · Previous experience with Symitar and LoansPQ preferred.
