Vaco Indianapolis is seeking a Financial Services Talent Coordinator with a recruiting background, strong people skills, and an analytical mindset to join our client’s growing team. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer and offers the opportunity to help build and shape a program from the ground up.
This is a hybrid position offering 2 days remote, 3 days in the office. Office is located on the Northside of Indianapolis
Salary: $55,000-$65,000

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years recruiting experience (full-cycle)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset; ability to interpret growth reports and advise on talent strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Adaptability, maturity, and professionalism when working with senior financial advisors.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry is highly preferred but not required
  • This role is ideal for someone who loves recruiting but also wants to step into a strategic, consultative position with long-term growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet with hiring managers to understand role definition, job description creation, and compensation design
  • Partner with leadership to recruit, onboard, and develop talent
  • Source candidates through internal referrals, job postings, external sites (LinkedIn, Indeed).
  • Conduct initial interviews with candidates
  • Conduct 30-60-90 check-ins with new hires.
  • Coordinate training programs, learning opportunities, and professional development for teams
