POSITION OVERVIEW

The Facility Services Assistant plays a vital role in supporting both residents and staff by managing administrative tasks, assisting with HR functions, and maintaining accurate records. This position works closely with the Administrator and Department Leaders to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or HR preferred
  • Previous administrative, clerical, or HR experience (healthcare experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, professional attitude with a commitment to resident-centered care
Responsibilities
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new employees, including background checks and new hire paperwork
  • Support HR functions such as maintaining employee files and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Coordinate scheduling and provide clerical support to facility leadership
  • Handle general office tasks such as filing, answering phones, and assisting visitors
  • Help maintain accurate resident records and assist with data entry
  • Provide support in daily operations as directed by the Administrator
