JOB SUMMARY:

Responsibility for accounting functions: general ledger, financial statements, statistics, grant billings, and bank reconciliations. Assure adherence to state statutes and rules, CARF standards, and federal regulations including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Positively represents the organization and promotes Rimrock’s
Mission to the community.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and banking.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with financial software including QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with financial modeling and analysis
  • Proven ability to prepare detailed reports and financial forecasts
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot numerical errors
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Posts daily to general ledger, prepares monthly financial statements, and reconciles monthly bank statements.
  • Performs detailed financial analysis relative to productivity and expense management.
  • Assists in preparation of financial work papers in preparation for annual financial audit.
  • Maintains fixed asset inventory.
  • Backup responsibilities to business office positions and payroll.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, forecast financial performance, and provide actionable recommendations. -
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and grants management procedures.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, including variance analysis and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
  • Implement and maintain financial management systems, procedures, and controls.
  • Ensure financial information for multi-year grants are entered and tracked appropriately
  • Grant reporting and analysis
  • Assist in financial eligibility checks for potential clients
  • Other duties as assigned.
