AS A FINANCIAL SUPERINTENDENT, YOU’LL BE VITAL IN OPTIMIZING OUR FINANCIAL OPERATIONS AND ENSURING COMPLIANCE. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Planning and Advice: Collaborate with the Controller of Finance to contribute to and align with financial plans.
• Short Range Planning (SRP): Review the SRP model and conduct initial reviews of management reports.
• Month-end Close: Coordinate and review MBU financial reporting, including sales, cost of sales, ROU, and capital, to ensure accurate and timely month-end close and conduct first-level reviews of quarterly corporate reporting packages.
• Forecasting and Budgeting: Coordinate the review process for year-to-date capital and production forecasts and budgets.
• Production Accounting: Oversee and review production reporting for actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
• Compliance: Implement actions to ensure integrity, timely and transparent information flow, effective risk management, and sound controls. You’ll also ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, legislation, regulations, policies, work standards, and governance, while maintaining internal control and SOx compliance.
• Other Reporting: Reviewer of other reporting including ESTMA and CSR Corporate Social Responsibility).
