Avantax Planning Partners, a community within Cetera Holdings, is seeking a Financial Support Associate II to provide advanced administrative and operational support to Financial Planning Consultants (FPCs) while serving as a resource to level 1 associates. This role handles a broader range of client service responsibilities, supports process improvement initiatives, and demonstrates strong independence. What you will do: Independently prepare and review new account paperwork. Create and organize client review materials and correspondence. Serve as a liaison with internal departments, custodians, CPAs, and clients. Manage client communication regarding account activity and deadlines. Process client requests including contributions, distributions, and transfers. Maintain accurate information and documentation within the CRM. Assist in training Level I associates. Recommend workflow and process improvements. Handle moderately complex client inquiries. Perform other duties as assigned. What you will need: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 2–5 years of financial services or administrative experience preferred. Salesforce experience strongly preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Certifications FPQP designation is a plus. Compensation: The salary range for this role is $24.50 per hour to $38.00 per hour plus competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
